Google Granted Request to Pause Order on Play Store Overhaul

Google's request to temporarily pause an order directing it to overhaul the Play Store to give consumers more choice over how they download software, was granted by a federal judge in California. The company had argued that the October 7 injunction would harm the company and introduce "serious safety, security and privacy risks into the Android ecosystem."
